The passion for winemaking is the driving force behind Château de Malherbes. Julia, Alexandre, Christophe, and Anthony discovered their love for the vines early in life, and their studies in oenology have deepened their expertise. Today, they pour all their energy and knowledge into nurturing the Malherbes terroir.

Every day, the teams strive to produce the finest grapes and craft exceptional cuvées. From what nature provides, Château de Malherbes creates a unique product that delivers an unforgettable experience when enjoyed at the table.

Located on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux wine region, Château de Malherbes produces wines under the Cadillac-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The vines are ideally situated on slopes, offering exceptional wines that reflect the quality of this terroir. In this natural haven on the outskirts of Bordeaux, Château de Malherbes operates at the intersection of tradition and modernity.

At the end of 2021, a new gravity-flow winery was inaugurated to ensure ever higher quality wines. The estate also offers unforgettable wine experiences to visitors from around the world. Château de Malherbes provides a majestic setting and a unique energy for discovering the richness of Bordeaux’s terroir.

Wines Bridging Modernity and Tradition

Château de Malherbes produces authentic wines that celebrate their region. Proud of their heritage, the team crafts wines in the pure Bordeaux tradition, delivering intense flavors. Their modern winemaking techniques have yielded results of such high quality that even the world’s best sommelier noted they are "wines that surpass their peers from the Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux appellation."

The red and white wines under the AOC Cadillac-Côtes de Bordeaux are predominantly made from the region's traditional grape varieties. Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon are showcased in the red cuvées, while Sauvignon and Sémillon feature in the estate’s white wines.

The 2015 Château de Malherbes white wine is particularly prized for its elegance, balance, and hint of exoticism. The Malherbes Grand Vin offers a red wine of character, combining elegance and power, making it perfect for special occasions.
