FÊTE DE LA MUSIQUE: 3 PLACES TO LISTEN TO MUSIC AND TASTE WINE
On Tuesday, June 21, we will celebrate the arrival of summer.
We’re hoping for sunny weather, as this date also coincides with the Fête de la Musique. Expect to hear music resonating all around your neighborhood. If you’re not sure where to celebrate, here are three great spots in Paris, Lyon, or Bordeaux where you can enjoy wine while listening to some fantastic tunes :
1) Paris: Jazz and Blues at La Boutique des Vins
Looking for a Parisian hideaway with a terrace where you can savor fine wine and enjoy acoustic music on June 21? La Boutique des Vins is the place to be. Located in a discreet passage in the heart of Paris, this venue offers live jazz and blues concerts throughout the evening. To pair with these melodious sounds, check out their wine list. The grand cru selections are worth discovering!

2) Lyon: Reggae Concert at Aromo Wine Bar
As every year, five bars on Rue Pasteur in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon join forces for the Solibarités association event to celebrate the Fête de la Musique in style. Among them is the Aromo wine bar. Let your ears enjoy soulful reggae tunes while sipping wines from Argentina, Chile, Hungary, or Italy…

3) Bordeaux : Concert at La Cité du Vin
Recently inaugurated, La Cité du Vin in Bordeaux is celebrating its first Fête de la Musique with the musical event "Sans Crier Gare." The program includes a trio of singers and an accordionist who will fill the imposing glass and aluminum building with songs about wine, intoxication, and good food, all in a casual atmosphere!
