A family tradition for 5 generations

The family farm at Saint-André-de-Cubzac has been in existence for five generations. Originally, the business was based on mixed farming, and great-grandfather Marc Moreau sold meat in his butcher's shop in the town centre. Gradually, he turned to wine production in his cellar, with a preference for direct sales. His activities extended to the Paris region and Brittany, where he bottled his wine for private customers.

A commitment to organic farming

Today, I'm striving to perpetuate this tradition while modernising the business. In 2021, we began the conversion to organic farming, returning to more environmentally-friendly practices. The development of short distribution channels and local trade is at the heart of our concerns, encouraging partnerships with local players, both for our supplies and our sales.

A passion handed down from generation to generation

Covering around 7 hectares, our vines thrive in a variety of terroirs, ranging from clay-limestone to silty-siliceous soils. Some of our plots, planted as far back as 1948, produce grapes of exceptional quality. Our vines are mainly composed of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec for the red wines, and Muscadelle, Sauvignon and Sémillon for the white wines.

We apply organic practices, limiting inputs, leaving the soil grassed and working lightly under the rows. Treatments are mainly carried out using bio-control products.

Our wines are made and matured in our own winery, located in the heart of the vineyard. Our range includes red wines with and without barrel ageing, rosé, dry white, sweet white and crémant, available in bottles or BIB.
