Whether you’re a fan or not, you likely know some of Céline Dion's greatest hits like "My Heart Will Go On," "Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore," or her duet with Garou, "Sous le Vent." We wondered what wines you could enjoy while listening to her classic tracks. Ready for a nostalgic journey?

Oenopotes Wine with "Hymne à l’Amitié"

Céline Dion definitely has that "nineties" vibe, doesn’t she? True, but did you know the singer has a real affinity for wine? She even has a bottle named after her… (we’ll get to that later). Since that particular bottle is only available in Quebec, we thought we’d dare to pair her music with wines from our own region, even if it means appearing a bit "retro" or "has-been." But hey, a nineties-themed evening reminiscing about Céline Dion’s hits with friends could be quite fun. After all, Céline Dion is a life-loving person, and if you’re her friend, she’ll give you "her bread, her wine, and maybe even her life" (fans will recognize a line from "Hymne à l’Amitié"). So, we’d pair this withthe Oenopotes from Château Haut-Bernasse : a gourmand, fruity, fresh, and lively red wine. Sounds like a good match for the Quebecois singer, right?

Blanc d’Amour with "My Heart Will Go On"

When we think of Céline Dion, two other adjectives come to mind: romantic and refreshing. Indeed, she has produced countless love songs ("Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore," "En Attendant Ses Pas," "My Heart Will Go On"). The Blanc d’Amour from Château Bizard would be perfect to accompany one of these tracks. Delicate and expressive, this white wine reveals aromas of peach, lychee, white flowers, and green almonds. Pair it with your favorite song—our pick would be the Titanic soundtrack (since we’re diving deep into nostalgia!).

As mentioned earlier, Céline Dion has her own wine. It’s an ice wine (produced from frozen grapes) from the 2013 vintage. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon, it features aromas of strawberry and milk chocolate with strawberry jam notes on the palate and marked acidity. Available only in Quebec, this wine is priced at $74.95.
