Organic Wines and Prestigious Terroirs
Domaine La Clausade is a new winery located in the south of France, in Mauguio, near Montpellier (34). We specialize in the production of organic wines made from resistant grape varieties.
We pay particular attention to respecting the land and humanity. Indeed, we use vine varieties that are naturally resistant to the most common grapevine diseases, such as downy mildew and powdery mildew.
Floréal, Artaban, Muscaris… Over 80% of the 16 hectares of our estate are planted with resistant grape varieties, allowing us to practice viticulture without any treatments, all in service of biodiversity.
Our plots, certified DEMETER and cultivated in biodynamics, receive no sulfur, no copper—just sunlight and water!
Our Goal: Let the Vine Express Itself
Our goal is to let the vine express itself, taking full advantage of the uniqueness of our grape varieties, their new aromas, and offering organic wines that go against the grain.
Our Commitments
Domaine La Clausade is driven by a strong commitment: to reduce our ecological footprint!
Zero Capsule Wines
Capsules account for approximately 66,000 tons of unnecessary waste annually. Since they are no longer mandatory as of 2019, we’ve chosen to eliminate this purely cosmetic element from our bottles in order to create cleaner products.
Recycled & Recyclable Packaging
To further reduce our ecological impact, we’ve opted for recycled and recyclable materials for the packaging of our products: recycled paper labels, recycled cartons, zero capsules, and lightweight bottles.
Our objective: To create cleaner products, acting to preserve biodiversity!
